As a freelance Graphic Design Associate, I worked closely with founders of Onekind, Madison and Matthew, to create e-commerce assets that aligned with their existing brand identity. I designed thumbnail images for Ulta, A+ graphics for Amazon, emails, as well as still advertising on Planet Beauty and Meta for sales and deals.

For me, working with Onekind has been a unique and fulfilling experience. It was my first ongoing freelance job, and is my first role in direct and close conversation with the client. I am also the only graphic designer working with Onekind, so besides hearing from Matthew and Madison for feedback, I mainly design independently– very different from my previous agency experience where I was working closely with other designers and art directors. Working with Onekind taught me how to interact and work alongside clients: besides designing well, of course, responding in a timely manner to concerns, exercising a proactive and positive attitude, and communicating transparently, truly goes a long way in helping clients feel heard while making sure that their needs are met.
